At Denise Smith Photography, portrait artist Denise Smith, a Master Photographer, and graphic artist Emily Jodoin believe that being a personal family photographer means much more than taking pictures of a family on ‘special occasions’.  This philosophy means establishing a relationship with our clients; telling a family's story through exquisite portraiture.

The relaxing Denise Smith Photography studio in Longmeadow, MA, provides an elegant, unhurried atmosphere for consultations, portrait sessions and photo reviews.

Over the years Denise Smith has collected an assortment of elegant props, unique treasures and exquisite fabrics that are combined to design sets which delight our clients. Beautiful natural light, as well as a state of the art lighting system provide families with a variety of lighting options to create a simple or sophisticated setting.

In addition, Denise Smith offers a beautiful outdoor studio, complete with blooming gardens, a gazebo and a variety of outdoor structures, benches and stone walls.

For a truly personal touch, our destination portraiture will allow you to choose that special place for your portrait session. We have accommodated our clients in a variety of personally chosen settings, including homes and vacation residences, beaches, parks, bridges and architecturally appealing buildings.

Capture the very beginning of your new family from maternity to the innocence of the newborn to early childhood.

With the New Beginnings Collection (click here), your new baby will be photographed at three, six and nine months of age.  At the completion of your third session, you will receive a framed composition containing one image from each session.
